VERSE OF THE WEEK

I have been chewing on this verse for quite some time - and working through this graphic gave me even more insight into it.

When I wanted to go one direction, the thoughts were scattered. It was here I paused and let the Lord show me what He wanted (always a good idea!). And the result? Verses I had not thought of or points not previously in my mind.

I was truly blessed and challenged as I began and finished up this verse. And in the middle - where the meat is - God met me at every turn. I pray He does the same for you.

So many times we get tripped up because our minds are settling on the things of the earth: temporary troubles, worry, our sin nature getting ahold of us (and our willingness to let it), relationship troubles, finances, etc. Yes, these are real, but God is calling us higher.

To think about the things of heaven. Which is where He is. His Son is. Where it all began.

Because of Jesus.
